Marcel Giró, from Badalona to MoMA
Teresa Sesé. 26/3/2017

Photography is a land fertilized to the forgetfulness and, therefore, also to the surprises and the discoveries, because the history is rewritten every day, sometimes with many years of delay. This is the only way to explain the ignorance of the figure and work of Marcel Giró (Badalona, 1913-2011), a Catalan exiled in Brazil during the postwar period who was one of the main representatives of the Escuela Paulista, and the work of which is now in MoMA's collections. É divulgado pelo galerista Rocío Santa Cruz.
